The two antennae areattached to the head.Leg - Adult Lepidoptera (butterflies <strong>and</strong>moths) have six legs. The two forelegs ofsome butterfly species are tiny.Proboscis - Adult butterflies sip nectar<strong>and</strong> other liquids using a spiral, straw-likeproboscis located on their head.Thorax - The thorax is the body sectionbetween the head <strong>and</strong> the abdomen.
