How much our Saints ۡ valued theirparents and how great their Madanī outlook used to be! Whereshall we get two slaves from! Alas! In such matters, forget about‘two chickens’, we don’t even have the courage to sacrifice twoeggs in the path of Allah . May Allah give us the abilityto understand the importance of parents. Āmīn!Let’s earn excessive rewards for free, without spendinganything. Look at your parents with sympathy and love. Hownice it is to look at your parents with a merciful gaze! The HolyProphet ٖ has said, ‘When children look at theirparents with a merciful gaze, Allah writes the reward ofḤajj-un-Mabrūr (accepted Ḥajj) for every (such) sight.’ TheHoly Companions asked, ‘Even if someone looks atthem hundred times a day?’ The Holy Prophet ٖ said, ‘Yes, Allah is the Greatest and Aṭyab (the Purest).’(Shu’ab-ul-Īmān, Vol. 6, pp. 186, Ḥadīš 7856)Undoubtedly, Allah is capable of everything.
