ۡۡۡOceanic DomePurify your heart from the malice of MuslimsFollow the footsteps of the Beloved ProphetO Lord, this is the request of ‘AṭṭārThat everyone adopt the Sunnaĥ of the Prophetه ٰ مد مح ٰ ع ع ا‏ٰ‏ ص تيبلللوۡص بح ل ع Dear Islamic brothers! Concluding the Bayān to the end, I willhave the privilege of mentioning the blessings of Sunnaĥ, andlisting some Manners and some Sunnaĥs. The Holy Prophet ٖ has said: ‘The one who loves my Sunnaĥ lovesme and the one who loves me will be with me in the Paradise.’(Ibn-e-‘Asākir, Vol. 9, pp. 343)ه ٰ مد مح ٰ ع ع ا‏ٰ‏ ص تيبلللوۡص بح ل ع 15 Sunnaĥs and manners of walking1. Allah has said in Sūraĥ Banī Isrāīl, Part 15, Versenumber 37: ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ ۡ “And do not walk haughtily on the earth; you cannot tear theearth and nor you can achieve height of the mountains.”(Translation of Kanz-ul-Iman) (Part 15, Sūraĥ Banī Isrāīl, Verse 37)29

The fragrant saying of the Beloved Prophet ٖ has been narrated on page 78 of Baĥār-e-Sharī’at, Volume16 [the 312-page publication of Maktaba-tul-Madīnaĥ, thepublishing department of Dawat-e-Islami]: A man, coveredwith two pieces of cloths, was walking arrogantly, withpride. The earth pulled him inside and he will continue tosink inside the earth until the Day of Judgement. (SaḥīḥMuslim, pp. 1156, Hadis 2088)3. The Beloved Prophet ٖ sometimes used tohold the hand of his companion in his blessed hand whilewalking. (Mu’jam Kabīr, Vol. 7, pp. 277)4. When the Holy Prophet used to walk, he ٖ would lean a little bit forward as though he ٖ is descending from a height. (Shamāil-e-Tirmiżī, pp. 87, Ḥadīš 118)5. Never walk with pride; wearing chains of gold or anyother metal, with the front buttons [of the shirt] open as ifto show off. This is the style of the unwise, proud, andtransgressing people. It is Ḥarām for men to wear a goldchain in the neck. Wearing other metallic chains is alsonot permissible.6. If there is no hindrance, walk on the side of the pathwayat a medium pace. Don’t be so fast that people startlooking at you thinking that where is he going in suchhaste. Do not walk too slowly that a viewer may assume30
