Championship fuel sample certificate acknowledging that asample was taken, and rider or representative must receive acopy of the certificate.f. The chief technical inspector must arrange to deliver the samples(A, B and C) along with the AMA Supercross, an FIM WorldChampionship fuel sample certificates to an express service fortransportation to the AMA office.D4 Shipping From the AMA Officea. Sample A and its certificate will be sent by express service tothe official testing laboratory where the sample will be testedfor compliance to the fuel specifications in accordance withstandard scientific procedures.b. Sample B and its certificate will be safeguarded at the officialtesting laboratory, if Sample A is found to be in noncomplianceto the fuel specifications, sample B will be testedfor verification.c. Sample C will be safeguarded at the AMA office for futuretesting if necessary.d. The results obtained from such testing must be attached to thelaboratory’s copy of the fuel sample certificate and delivered tothe AMA as soon as practicable after the results have beenobtained.e. The AMA will appoint one or more laboratories for testing fuels.f. Upon receiving the report from the laboratory that a fuelsample or samples are not in compliance with the rules theAMA will inform the rider or team and assess a penalty.g. The rider may request to carry out a test of the B sample toverify the results. The testing of the B sample will be at therider's expense.h. The AMA will receive the testing results of the sample B andcompare with the testing result of sample A.i. Of these two testing results, the rider's more favorable testingresult (whether it be the A or B Sample) will be taken intoaccount.j. The independent testing laboratory in issuing the results of thetest must also verify that the samples were received in goodcondition and with the seal intact.58
