Disadvantaged Business Enterprise ProgramPolicyAs per UDOT Federal Guidelines 49 CFR Part 26, the Authority assigns DBEparticipation goals on a contract-by-contract basis on federally fundedconstruction contracts having a total dollar value greater than $500,000 andon non-construction procurements (i.e., contracts for services, supplies andequipment) having a total value greater than $100,000.The Authority’s DBE goal may be satisfied by utilizing one or more DBEs asjoint venture partners, subcontractors or suppliers of goods and services ofany kind or nature, provided that the DBE performs the tasks awarded whenthe contract is executed. DBE firms may also participate as primecontractors.
