Plymouth Half marathon £2500 raisedThis year long time Plymouth Motor Club members and supporters SteveFurzeland, Danielle Furzeland, Leann Furzeland , Alan Perrott and 5 othermembers of the gang from Plymouth agencies ran the Plymouth Half Marathonin memory of Simon Perrott who died of cancer aged 32 years in September2012.Excellent news in that they managed to raise £2500 in support of the charity,with monies raised from sponsorship raised from local support for this fabulousevent.The gang would like to thank everyone for their support as it couldn't be donewith out this.Yvonne FurzelandTamar Tour Sunday, September 22 ndPlanning for the September Tamar Tour is progressing well and now it istime to turn our thoughts to how we can raise some much needed cash forthe Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, helping children and adults with disabilities.We will be looking for sponsors to donate towards the running of theevent. Every pound raised by sponsorship will allow the organisers to donatemore of the entry fees to the charity. Sponsors will have their companylogo etc. used as widely as possible on event paperwork. If you canhelp, or you know of any person or company that might be willing tosponsor us, please let us know.Also, we would like to hear from anybody who has any bright ideas as tohow we can raise further funds for Dame Hannahs.
