This event provides anopportunity for prospective school leavers to findemployment prior to finishing school.Year 9 Formal EventThe Year 10’s are hosting a formal event for the Year9’s as part of their Duke of Edinburgh program. It willbe held in Week 9 on Thursday, 17th June. The eventis formal, so Year 9 students are to wear full length(ankle length) dresses for the girls and suits for theboys. It is suggested that the Year 9’s find an outfitfrom their nearest op shop for this event. The eventwill begin at 12:20 (Period 5), where students will beallowed to change into their formal gear. At lunch,finger food will be served, made freshly by the Year10’s. During this time there will be a human auctionwhere Year 10’s will be sold as slaves for a day. Alsoduring this time, there will be a Power-Point presentation with a memorablephoto collection. Afterwards, there will bea formal dance with 80’s music.
