News from the CHAPLAINLast week we held our Community Chapel Service. This wasbased around the theme of prayer. Representatives of staffand students from Year 5, Middle and Senior College,Distance Education, and Leadership personnel intercededwith prayers to God for their peers, leaders, and personnelunder their care. I believe that God will not only hear butwill answer the prayers submitted on this day. Giving youngpeople the opportunity to express their faith is to also givethem opportunity to grow spiritually through theirparticipation. There are certain ways that children wordtheir prayers with such an innocence or ‘bluntness’ thatallows a warm wave of joy or happiness to envelope us aswe agree with them. Having the opportunity to hear ourteachers and supervisors pray for us lets us know of theirpastoral care and concern for the people they areresponsible for. I personally am quite grateful for theopportunity in this College to freely participate in corporatetimes of prayer.YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIESHey Kids ….
