SECTION VSTEVEDORING AND EQUIPMENT HIRE CHARGESITEMSUBJECT501 STEVEDORINGStevedores must be ordered from the Port Operations Manager's office by 1200 hours on the day prior torequirement. This applies from Saturday to Thursday inclusive.Stevedores ordered and cancelled will be charged at 25% of the full rates applicable.502 ALLOTMENTThe Authority shall be responsible for the allotment of stevedores to vessel. Agents and vessels will not beallowed to re-allocate or switch stevedores unless prior consent of the Authority is received.503 WORKING HOURSStevedoring may be carried out on a 24 hour basis subject to the conditions outlined in Section IV Item 405504 VESSEL GEARShips gear must be adequate to handle the cargo, and may be subject to the Port's inspection.
