I do not eatanything but milk; why should I not be allowed?” ßrÈChaitanya MahÅprabhu replied, “Milk drinking is noqualification for entering into Krishna consciousness.”The brÅhmaˆa said, “Then I curse You to loseyour family life!” “All right,” MahÅprabhu said andaccepted the curse. And later He took sannyÅsa andchased after those who were misguided by MÅyÅdevÈin order to save them. At the same time, althoughHe is Krishna, He accepted the mood of ßrÈmatÈRÅdhÅrňÈ. For these two reasons, He left his apparentlyworldly life: He acted for the welfare of thepublic and, after finishing that work, spent the nexttwelve years tasting the very inner aspiration ofßrÈmatÈ RÅdhÅrÅˆÈ and searching after His own innersweetness. This was what He came to show to theworld. In this mystic way, ßrÈmad-BhÅgavatam hasproclaimed the magnanimous appearance of ßrÈChaitanya MahÅprabhu.
