ServicesLondon Bridge HospitalMedical SecretariatOpening Hours:Monday-Friday, extended office hoursTelephone: 020 7234 2084 Fax: 020 7234 2998The team provides a full range of medical secretarial services for consultant users.OncologyTelephone: 020 7234 2550 Fax: 020 7234 2517The London Bridge Hospital Oncology Unit provides a range of inpatient, outpatient and day case oncologyservices.Our oncology nurses are specially trained to care for patients throughout their cancer treatment and mosthave undertaken specialist training.The inpatient unit specialises in medical and surgical oncology, notably breast and maxillofacial surgery,diagnostic and interventional radiology.Patients requiring day case chemotherapy are cared for in a separate unit, which has two fully-equippedconsulting rooms for consultations.Patients who require palliation and symptom control are nursed on the ward and there is a dedicatedConsultant and CNS. They liaise regularly with community teams. There is also a team of Breast CareClinical Nurse Specialists who see patients from diagnosis through to treatment.Two Clinical Psychologists are available for patients who need counselling on a more formal basis.In support of the clinical services provided, a range of complementary therapies are available for patientsduring their stay.There are two telephone helplines – 020 7234 2571 on the 5th Floor and 020 7234 2422 in the Day Unit– available 24 hours a day for patients and relatives seeking advice, information and support.19
