• Based on the list, BPL/Vulnerable households areidentified by the GRC staffthrough a door to door survey.After that the yellow slips 2 ,provided by the TPA, are issuedto the identified families andthey are informed about thedate for enrollment. Families arealso informed about the RSBYspecifics and enrollmentcriteria. If the family isinterested in enrolling, they areadvised to bring their surveyslip or Ration Card along with Rs. 30/- when they come for enrollment.• At the time of enrollment, the first step is to match the identity of theBPL/Vulnerable family with BPL/Vulnerable Household data carried bythe TPA operator. Once the data is matched, the TPA operator collectsbiometric information (fingerprints) and photographs of the members ofthe beneficiary household. Theregistration fee of Rs.30/- perhousehold is also collected by the TPAoperator at this stage. Subsequently,the concerned Field Key Officer (FKO)authenticates the smart card.• The smart card is normally deliveredwithin 15 days to the GRCs for onwarddistribution to the beneficiaries.
