Proud ParentsJerry Orvosh, member of District Council 57(Pittsburgh) and Local Union 409, and his wife Bethrecently attended a ceremony in Washington, DC thathonored their son, Air Force Staff Sergeant David J.Orvosh, as an Outstanding Airman of the Year. “Davidhas a very proud Dad and Mother,” said Jerry. Theirson had just returned from a six month stint in Iraq andall were grateful for the opportunity to get together forthis event. “The ceremony was stunning and extremelyemotional,” said Beth. Heserved a variety of part-time positionsfor his local before becoming its businessmanager/financial secretary in1983. He was then elected a DistrictCouncil 7 business representative inJune 2003 and held the office eversince. Don was a delegate to numerous<strong>IUPAT</strong> conventions, and previouslyserved as secretary-treasurer ofthe Wisconsin State Conference ofBrother Don Cardinali displays theplaque commemorating his over 25years of service to the <strong>IUPAT</strong>.Congratulations and happy retirement!Journeyman Painters.
