Interested in organizing?Talk to your district council to learn more.THE IUPAT IS WALKING TALL IN TEXASBrother Glen Grady, a 26-year member of DistrictCouncil 88/Local Union 756, has been named chief ofpolice in his hometown of Combine, Texas. Glen beganserving as a police officer in 1969 upon his return fromtwo tours in Vietnam. After several years of policeservice, he signed on as a firefighter. In 1981, hejoined the IUPAT as a tradeshow decorator and workedon his days off from the fire station.
