The lowerscreen displays operator-requestedinformation and also contains theVIMS three-category alert system.■Display fields include both a numericreading in English or Metric units(e.g. degrees of temperature) and anelectronic gauge which illustrates thefunction’s current position relative toa predetermined limit or setting.3. VIMS keypad allows the operatorto access current machine systeminformation from twenty-by-two VIMSdisplay fields.
