Intended Audience, Prerequisites, Dates
Target Audience
Experienced users who need to create their own layouts or maintain or modify existing layouts.
In ST4 BasicLine 2012 and ST4 DocuManager 2012,
the layout for PDF and InDesign productions can be
created and changed with the Page Layout Designer,
without the need for programming. Users work with
frames and a WYSIWYG preview.
In the training, the concept of the Page Layout De‐
signer is explained. Typical and frequently requested
layout changes are demonstrated and discussed.
With individual exercises, the customer gains practi‐
cal experience and can later realize his own require‐
ments.
An sample layout serves as the basis for inidividual
layout design and is used in the training. The partici‐
pants receive the template at the end of the course.
Participants can send in their own suggestions for
layouts, and if suitable, these can be used as a basis
for exercises.
A basic understanding of XML is required.

The number of participants is limited to eight. Courses are held in SCHEMA’s facilities in Nürnberg.
The course fee plus VAT will be billed after completion of the course. Cancellation (in writing) is possible free
of charge up to four weeks before the start of the course. For cancellations up to two weeks prior to the start
of the course 50% of the fee will be charged. For cancellations after this date the course will be charged in
full.
Registration deadline is two weeks prior to the course date. SCHEMA Consulting GmbH reserves the right to
change the schedule or cancel the course in cases of emergency or insufficient participants.
