Information and CommunicationsTechnologies (ICT)AmCham continues coordinating its efforts to provide specific recommendations tothe Government of Azerbaijan to assist in meeting its goal of developing ICT sectorinto the second largest industry after the oil and gas– i.e., to help lead Azerbaijan intothe era of a liberalized and competitive ICT environment, to provide appropriate legaland regulatory recommendations, and also to provide more specific guidance on oneof the central issues in creating a competitive environment in ICT sector.To achieve these goals, the AmCham ICT Committee will continue making itsrecommendations to assist ICT development and to create favorable and equalconditions for all participants (state structures, research and education institutions,private companies, NGOs, public organizations and citizens).
