EVENTSMonthly LuncheonsOur Monthly Member Luncheons are aimed at strengthening and developingmutually beneficial business contacts among our members. The official part of theluncheon consists of a presentation by a guest speaker invited by AmCham’s Boardof Directors. Past speakers have included important government officials such asthe National Leader of the Republic of Azerbaijan, late President Heydar Aliyev, theMinister of Communications, Mr. Ali Abbasov, the Minister of Emergency Situations,Mr. Kemaleddin Heydarov, the Minister of Youth and Sport, Mr. Azad Rahimov, theformer US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Derse, the former Country Representativeof IMF, Mr. Basil Zavoiko, the former Country Representative of EBRD, Mr. AygenYayikoglu, the Chairman of the State Social Protection Fund, Mr. Salim Muslimov, theChairman of the State Migration Service, Mr Arzu Rahimov, the Vice President of StateOil Company of Azerbaijan, Mr Elshad Nassirov, the Director of the Administration ofState Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher”, Mr. Mikayil Jabbarov, and manyothers.
