Sore throat is a common complaint, not just in winter, but inthe summer too, especially when there are wide temperaturevariations. There are many causes to sore throat which mainlyexhibits symptoms of redness, swelling, hoarseness and painfulswallowing. Sometimes it is caused by a slight irritation, forexample, due to exposure to smoke or talking for prolongedperiods of time. However, there may also be an inflammationcausing the throat soreness.
