Qualifications and Training Requirements for Cabin Crew

ACNo. : AC/OPS/016R00Date : 01 Mar 0915 Training records(a) An operator shall:(1) maintain records of all training and checking required by this AC;(2) maintain a summary of training to show a trainee’s completion of everystage of training and checking; and(3) make the records of all initial, conversion and recurrent training andchecking available, on request, to the cabin crew member concerned.16 Cabin crew instructors(a) All training and checking required by this AC shall be conducted by cabin crewinstructors, who must be qualified by reasons of their knowledge, competenceand skills, and shall be authorized by AACM.(b) As a minimum requirement, a cabin crew instructor shall:(1) have at least 3 years of relevant experience;(2) be familiar with the operator’s operational procedures;(3) be adequately trained in teaching techniques and have completed aninstructor training programme accepted by AACM; and(3) be knowledgeable and qualified on type and able to present the trainingmaterial in an effective manner.(c) Cabin crew instructor authorization in general remains valid for two years fromthe date of issue and shall be renewed by AACM upon request, subject tocompliance with the requirement specified in paragraph 16 (d).(d) In order to maintain delegated authority, an authorized cabin crew instructor isrequired to conduct a minimum of 3 training courses required by this AC duringeach and every 12-month period.- END -Alameda Dr. Carlos D’Assumpção, 336-342, Centro Comercial Cheng Feng, 18º andar, MacauTel.: (853) 28511213 • Fax: (853) 28338089 • AFTN: VMMCYAYX • E-mail: aacm@aacm.gov.moPage 7 of 23
