Apple MacintoshIf the Big Bang icon is on the computer screen (the desktop),double-click on it. Otherwise go to where you chose to install BigBang to find the icon.When Big Bang begins, the title screen will appear*. It has fourpictures, each representing a different activity. Place the mousepointer over each picture to see a description of the activity in thebox at the bottom of the screen. Then click on one of the picturesto start the selected activity.* If this not the first time the program has been run, you will be asked if youwant to use the default settings or with the settings as when Big Bang waslast used.Big Bang has lots of options so you can personalise it to your own needs.The options give Big Bang versatility and are its strength as a learningtool.This question gives you a quick route to playing Big Bang with your optionsas you had them before. If you’re not sure, just click Use the defaultsettings.To change the activity, press the Esc key on the keyboard to goto the Options menu. Then click Exit to return to the title screen,where you can select a new activity.Stopping Big BangWhilst playing an activity, press the Esc key on the keyboard. Thiswill take you to the Options menu. Click on the Exit button to go tothe title screen, then click on the X in the top right-hand corner ofthe screen to exit the program completely.Big Bang
PrintYou can print out a picture from Big Bang at any time.WindowsHold down the Ctrl key and press the P key. A standard Windowsprint dialogue box will appear. Click the Printbutton to print.Big Bang ActionsThe opening screen displays an animating prompt to encourage thelearner to engage with the computer.
