Testing the GFCI BreakerTest the GFCI breaker prior to first use <strong>and</strong> periodically when the spa ispowered. To test the GFCI breaker follow these instructions (spa shouldbe operating):1. Press the TEST button on the GFCI. The GFCI will trip <strong>and</strong> the spa willshut off.2. Reset the GFCI breaker by switching the breaker to the full OFF position,wait a moment, then turn the breaker back on. The spa shouldhave power again.VS-500 System High Power ConfigurationThe two <strong>and</strong> three pump VS-500 systems can run with higher powerthan the VS-300 system. For the VS-500 system, DIP switch #6 isfactory set in the ON position. This causes the heater to shut off whenany pump is running in high speed. To operate the spa in high powermode, ensure the following steps are performed before starting yourspa:• When installing the electrical system, use a 50 or 60 amp GFCI asappropriate. (See the table above). Follow the GFCI wiring diagramon the previous page.• Have your dealer or installer set DIP switch #6 to the OFF positionon the circuit board as shown below.LTR50001094, Rev.
