<strong>The</strong> <strong>New</strong> <strong>Cove</strong> <strong>Marketplace</strong> <strong>At</strong> <strong>Port</strong> <strong>Canaveral</strong><strong>The</strong> <strong>Canaveral</strong> <strong>Port</strong> Authority currently is seeking artists and crafts people interested inparticipating in our new “<strong>Cove</strong> <strong>Marketplace</strong>.” This will be an “open-air” village-stylemarketplace located in the <strong>Cove</strong> across from Rusty’s & Milliken’s Reef restaurants (680 DaveNesbit Dr.) <strong>The</strong> goal is to establish a weekly venue at the <strong>Port</strong> for our local artisans andbusinesses to sell their products to our Florida visitors and cruise line passengers. Our hopesare to provide our visitors with a unique Florida experience that they will enjoy and remember.<strong>The</strong> <strong>Port</strong> Authority is searching for a diverse group of vendors with products that arehandmade, original, and with a Florida theme. All types of artwork and local Florida businesseswill be considered. We are hoping to show our visitors a true cross section of our interestinglocal flavors. To avoid a ‘flea market’ atmosphere, we are more interested in businesses thathave unique and interesting Florida products, and are not simply retail outlets. Performanceartists are also welcome to apply!<strong>The</strong> <strong>Cove</strong> <strong>Marketplace</strong> Manager will assist the vendor applicants with getting their informationto us. All applications must have color photo's with them showing any and all products that willbe sold from your space. <strong>The</strong>se applications and photo's must be mailed or delivered to <strong>The</strong><strong>Canaveral</strong> <strong>Port</strong> Authority: <strong>At</strong>tn. <strong>Cove</strong> <strong>Marketplace</strong> (445 Challenger Rd, P.O. Box 267, Cape<strong>Canaveral</strong>, Fl. 32920) DO NOT EMAIL PHOTO'S OR APPLICATIONS!Details of Operation:Rent: $250/space per monthSpaces: Spaces are 10’ x 10’ and will require a white tent.Days of Operation: <strong>The</strong> <strong>Cove</strong> <strong>Marketplace</strong> will be open on Monday, Tuesday From andWednesday from 10:00 am until 4 pm and all vendors are required to be in operation duringthis time. If desired, venders are welcome to stay later and come and set up earlier ! Vendorswill be allowed to leave their tent setup in their spaces Mon-Weds. But Wednesday evening, alltents must come down and spaces cleared. <strong>At</strong> no time does the <strong>Port</strong> Authority accept liabilityfor any damages or theft to vendors products or property during hours of operation or leftovernight!Rain Days: Since this is an outdoor marketplace, it is expected that we will have days whenthe weather does not permit us to open. Emails will be sent out to vendors by 6:30 am everymorning weather becomes an issue.
