Bigger and better
The key point of Vertikal Days is for those
who buy or use access platforms, cranes
or telehandlers to see and try the latest
equipment and most important of all to
meet and spend time with suppliers. In
addition, the growing number of short
seminars allows you to combine your visit
with an informative learning experience.
The number of ancillary suppliers is also
growing and as a result we have enlarged
the ‘marketplace’ marquee yet again. This
year’s stands include safety electronics,
tyres, batteries, replacement parts, rental/
business software and service suppliers.
While this is a small show in comparison to
Bauma, it is much more concentrated and if
you want to gain the maximum benefit you
should consider allowing two days. The show
is ‘all inclusive’ with coffee, soft drinks and
pastries on offer all day with a hot lunch
provided between noon and 2.30. Entry,
parking and all hospitality is free with your
invitation or pre-registration.
The Wednesday evening networking event
promises to be more popular than ever with
up to 500 people attending. Tickets can be
purchased through exhibitors.

and Thorough Examination
of Mobile Cranes
Produced in conjunction with the
Health and Safety Executive
(HSE), Safety Assessment
Federation, the United Kingdom
Contractors Group, the National
Construction College and
ConstructionSkills, the document
addresses maintenance and
thorough inspections along with
the often contentious issue of
four yearly proof load testing. The
launch will include presentations
from the HSE and the CPA and
will provide plenty of opportunity
for questions from delegates.

Association, Safety Assessment
Federation, the United Kingdom

will include presentations from
