The command keyword is separated from the firstparameter by a space character. Some examples of Common Commands are shownbelow:*RST *ESR 32 *STB?SCPICommandFormatSCPI commands perform functions like closing switches, making measurements,querying instrument states, or retrieving data. A subsystem command structure is ahierarchical structure that usually consists of a top level (or root) command, one ormore lower level commands, and their parameters.
