Welcome to the 2011 <strong>DURO</strong> product guide and price list. In short<br />
this is the most comprehensive range of products we have ever<br />
offered, with most ranges being expanded or upgraded and many<br />
completely new product lines have been introduced.<br />
A point we would like to draw your attention to is the addition<br />
of several new HDF Technology diamond blades within our <strong>DURO</strong><br />
Plus and Ultra lines.<br />
HDF Technology (High Density Forging) is a patented forged<br />
diamond segment manufacturing process, which offers significant<br />
increases in tool life and speed of cut due to it’s incredibly high<br />
segment matrix density.<br />
This also brings an improvement improvement in laser welding strength that is nothing nothing short of astounding.<br />
In recent independent tests using X-ray imaging it has been found to all but completely remove<br />
porosity from the welding zone, which is an age old industry issue. You can see these products<br />
marked throughout the catalogue and each blade has one segment with the <strong>DURO</strong> logo stamped into it.<br />
All our diamond products have been fully updated now to meet or exceed the new 2011<br />
EN13236 standard.<br />
