HDF Technology (High Density Forging) is a patented
forged forged diamond segment segment manufacturing process, which offers
significant increases increases in tool life and speed of cut due to it’s
incredibly high segment segment matrix density.
This also brings an improvement in laser welding strength
that is is nothing short of astounding.
In recent independent independent tests tests using X-ray imaging it has has been
found to all but completely remove porosity from the welding zone, which is an age old industry
issue. You can see these products marked throughout the catalogue and each blade has one
segment with the DURO logo stamped into it.
Shown here are actual x-rays taken of the new HDF welding zone and the welding zone from
a competitor product. The HDF shows an incredible weld, with the competitor weld showing
gaps and minimal bond.
Near to zero porosity and
a complete weld with
astounding strength
DURO works hard to ensure the safety of its ultimate user
customers, through close co-operation with its partner
producers. As a result all DURO tools comply with
the relevant European safety standards appropriate
to the product.
The EN mark on our products signifies that it has
passed tough quality inspection and been tested rigorously
prior to delivery.
Additionally many DURO products are approved by oSa
(Organisation for the Safety of Abrasives). Where a standard
doesn’t exist for one of our innovative products, DURO self
certify through the GPSD (General Product Safety Directive).
DURO tools are produced using only the highest quality raw materials available. Debeers
(Element Six) and GE synthetic diamond grits, high grade carbon steels, fine metal powders
and top grade abrasive grains are all used to create the perfect tools.
We mark and package our products in line with current legislation
to provide the maximum amount of safety, application and
user information possible.
All DURO tools are 100% guaranteed against a genuine
manufacturing defect. If you are unhappy with any DURO
tools, please return the product to us stating the reason
for the return and we will investigate fully and respond
accordingly.
