The 1,000-point club member tied the mark (CelesteHoewisch, 2007-11) in the Horizon League Championship title game against Loyolaon March 17 with her 132nd appearance.That’s Ritch: Senior Adrian Ritchie enters the postseason as the program’s best3-point shooter. The hometown heroine has connected on 195 of her 533 attemptsfrom behind the arc, both the top marks in program history. She’s currently fourthon the all-time list with a .815 free throw percentage and holds down the No. 10spot with 231 steals in her standout career. She also tied the program record for3-pointers in a season with 70 and has 184 attempts from downtown—the mostever attempted in a single season.Senior Success: Green Bay’s five-member senior class is now 10-1 in Horizon LeagueTournament games after Sunday’s win. The class also boasts a 4-3 record in theNCAA Tournament with a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011 and two trips to the SecondRound. To date, the class has helped the program achieve a remarkable 122-15record during its time in at Green Bay.In Good Company: During the past five seasons, Green Bay is the third-winningestteam (based on percentage) in NCAA Division I with a 176-21 (.893) mark trailingonly Connecticut and Stanford. The <strong>Phoenix</strong> has the fifth-most wins in DivisionI during that same stretch, and also has the second-most consecutive winningseasons with 36 (Tennessee 40, Louisiana Tech 38). The Lady Techsters had theirstreak snapped this year after finishing 14-17, making Green Bay’s the secondlongestactive streak.Three for 1,000?: Senior Lydia Bauer is next in line to join Green Bay’s 1,000-pointclub, needing just 23 points to accomplish the feat. Bauer averages 10.0 points percontest this season and also shoots 37 percent from long range.
