• Strong background in density-functional theory, solid state physics, electronic structure theory,<br />
magnetism and correlated systems.<br />
• Experience with first-principles calculations based on Density Functional <strong>Theory</strong>. Applications<br />
include electronic, structural and magnetic properties of metal-organic compounds, coordination<br />
polymers and inorganic compounds such as dilute magnets and nitrides.<br />
• Experience with large-scale ab initio calculations.<br />
• Experience with FP-LAPW (Wien2k) and LMTO/NMTO (Stuttgart code) methods.<br />
• Experience with molecular dynamics.<br />
