RFP3646 Information Technology Services May 10, 2011E-911 PSAP EPLMay 1, 2011 – April 30, 20142.1.4 Please be reminded that this RFP is intended for basic E-911systems and large and expensive systems may be the subject of aspecialized RFP and are out of scope of RFP 3646.2.1.5 Turnkey configurations that are deemed by ITS to be outside thescope of this RFP will not be published.2.1.6 Vendors must fully describe the open configurations.2.2 Two and Four Position Consoles2.2.1 Vendor may propose and describe in the Base System ConfigurationSpreadsheets, the equipment, installation, maintenance and trainingneeded for a basic 2 and 4-position PSAP centers. The systems mustbe turnkey with all functionality needed for a basic PSAP. Requiredbase minimum specifications and features for all proposed systemsare described below.2.2.2 Vendor should sufficiently describe all equipment in the baseturnkey system. This should include, at a minimum, thefunctionality and description of the system, its console, itstelephones/headsets, display monitors, basic display features forphone and console, and the core system components/card shelf.2.2.2.1 Vendor must describe trunk line capability.2.2.2.2 Vendor must state maximum number of trunksper system.2.2.3 An Administrative Position/lines may be optionally proposed in theComponents List Spreadsheet. Alternatively, Vendor may proposesystems that include an administrative position as one of their eightConfiguration slots.2.2.4 Excluded items. The following items should not be included in the“Base Systems Configuration Spreadsheets”. Vendors may proposethese items in the “Component List Spreadsheet” section.2.2.4.1 Furniture specific to a PSAP installation.2.2.4.2 Logging Recorders. Note that Vendors maypropose a variety of sizes or manufacturers in theComponent List.2.2.4.3 CAD systems. Basic CAD systems to supportthe E-911 system may be proposed in theComponent List.
