Voice of the customerFrom Leandra Wagner, Adult Medicine and Endocrinology: I am an employee here at Cox. My son was recently at South on 7 inPediatrics. We had such a wonderful stay considering the circumstances. The whole staff was wonderful to my son. Hisnurses both named Leanne and the day nurse who I cannot remember her name always made sure we had what we needed. He had two very awesome respiratory therapists as well, they were both very prompt and made sure he had his breathingtreatments and always made sure we were comfortable and didn't need anything. My son is now home and doing very wellthanks to the wonderful caring staff. You guys are awesome. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much. When we hear customers use the word “always” to describe our care as in this message above, it’s an indication that patientcare staff is consistent with great service behaviors, such as asking before leaving the room if there is anything elsethey can do for patients and families.A patient comment shared with Guest Services: “I have been so happy with all of the Cox employees we have worked with. It’sbeen an awesome experience!”From a Contact Us message on coxhealth.com: “I was a patient over the weekend, 4th floor (Cox South). I want to thankthe staff for making my stay as painless as possible as well as the excellent treatment by RN Rachel (not sure of her lastname). Her professionalism and care she took to ensure I was taken care of was above the call of duty. She was excellent.”Patient Patricia Thompson wanted everyone to know she had an awesome experience in the ER in Branson. She expressed that Dr.Rick Blaubaugh was exceptional! She continued to brag about the X-ray techs, saying everyone was so pleasant. She had not experiencedthis care anywhere else and she wanted everyone to know she appreciated it. Way to go Branson Emergency Room! From a Contact Us submission: “I just wanted to write this morning to express my gratitude to the staff of Cox. My wifeand I just had our son two days ago. This is our first child, and therefore the experience was entirely foreign to us. Everyonewe dealt with was incredible! Our nurse Angela was right there with us the whole time in delivery! Karen took care ofour boy right after the birth and quickly reminded me to get out my video camera. I had gotten all caught up in the processand totally forgot about that. If it wasn't for her, we would've missed out on recording that moment. Our nurses like Ann, Paula and Patti who took care of us after the birth were equally great. Everyone was no nice, helpfuland comforting! They did their very best to make our experience and stay as great as possible and we will forever bethankful to them! I don't know what else to say other than thank you!”The purpose of this volunteer newsletter is to provide CoxHealth volunteers with relevant news in a timely manner.Editors: Pat Long and Stephanie SpradlingPhone: 269-4169
