TMSTEP 1Select anatomical regionSTEP 2Select anatomical viewSTEP 3Ready for exposureTECHVISION: A QUANTUM EXCLUSIVEQuantum’s TechVision is truly an innovation for the technologist.Technologists can easily view and set up all technique parameters, aswell as access set-up functions right at tube-side.TechVision eliminates going back-and-forth from the generator'soperator control panel to the patient, in order to prepare for patientexams. The operator has complete control to adjust exposureparameters right at the tube-side, just as if they were at thegenerator’s operator control panel. This synchronizedgenerator solution greatly streamlines the imaging process anddecreases overall examination time, while allowing the technologist toremain close to the patient, for increased patient care.TechVision Features:• Multi-Color (16 Bit; 800 x 600 Pixel; 8.4” display) Touchscreen• Technologist controls generator technique selection at tube-side• Full APR, AEC and Manual technique selection• Improved patient care, as technologist remains close to thepatient during exam set-up procedure• Improved patientthrough-put, by reducing steps taken bythe technologist during exam set-up procedurere• Digital Imaging Ready - Provides actual digital image “PREVIEW”EW”and"Study Review" (with select DR solutions)s)The Q-VISION Series TM integrates revolutionary high frequencyencydesign with superb functionality, resulting in the most advancedradiographic generator ever developed. The Q-VISION Series TMgenerators provide power levels up to 80 kW and outputs of up to150kVp, meeting the needs of any imaging environment.Designed for all aspects of general x-ray imaging andoperating at a near-constant potential of up to 120 kHz,the Q-VISION provides High Frequency imaging for highlyefficient X-ray production. Radiographic imaging is optimizedthrough the Q-VISION’s innovative and simple GUI design, which permits a wide variety of routine, specialized andcustom procedures.13

CEILING-MOUNTEDTUBE SUPPORT (RS-580)Centralized hand grips with dualsoft-grips provide smooth, responsive systemadjustments. Positioning of the x-ray tube isdirected through a series of color-codedfingertip switches on the operator handcontrol, which coincide with the colorson the various rails, for vertical, horizontal and transverse movements.A convenient “All-Locks” release switch isbuilt into each of the soft-grip controls.Lighted display windows indicate systemnavigation for SID, tube angle and lockfunctions, to assist the operator witheasy and precise positioning.“QUIET-LIFT” ELEVATING,FLOAT-TOP TABLE (QT-750)Quantum’s “QUIET-LIFT” elevating,float-top table eases patient transferand positioning. With a 650 lbs.(295 kg) patient capacity and a ruggedlifting mechanism, the table elevatessmoothly and quietly. The extra-wide(35”), and completely flat-top tablesurface simplifies patient transfer andpositioning, while providing comfort forlarger patients.Float-top motion and elevating capability is controlled throughboth recessed foot controls, as well as float-top multi-functionhand control switch. Adjustable patient hand grips are included, and can be positioned along the concealed accessory rails tohelp stabilize the patient during exam positioning.Collision-avoidance electronics,a FAIL-SAFE braking system andan operator lock-out switch providefor an exceptionally safe working environment.VERTI-Q VERTICALWALL STAND (QW-420)Quantum’s Vertical Wall Stand, VERTI-Q, allows for avariety of imaging: from skull through lower extremities, with its counterbalanced travel and minimumfocal spot-to-floor distance.MOTORIZED SERVO-DRIVE (RS-580-MAC)with “Q-TRACK” TechnologyQuantum Ceiling Systems equipped with SERVO-DRIVE and“Q-TRACK” technology provide automatic motorized alignmentto the vertical wall stand (chest unit), as well as adjusting to thevariable height of the elevating table.Q-TRACK, assists the technologist with automation for:• faster patient positioning• increased patient throughput• better imaging accuracy, since the x-ray beam maintainsconstant alignment with the center of the image receptorThis saves staff considerable time and effort, and places their focuscompletely on the patient and the exam procedure.5

Q-Rad Floor SystemsLateral Cassette Holder (LCH)is available to assist withcross table exams.Q-Rad floor-mounted systems are the idealchoice for the busy imaging center, orthopedic facilityor hospital. The advanced features and unique designaspects of the system allow the technologist to fullyconcentrate on the patient during the examination. 6

DELUXE FLOOR-MOUNTED TUBESTAND(QS-550)The versatility of the QS-550 Deluxe tubestand providesextended freedom of movement of the tube assembly, allowing for a wide array of examinations. Tubestandpositioning is controlled through a series of accessiblefingertip switches on the operator hand control. A singleswitch releases all tubestand locks for multi-directionaladjustments. An easy-to-read indicator displays system position. The Deluxe Floor-MountedTubestand is also availablewith TechVision.Expansive longitudinal and transverse travel, columnrotation (+/- 90°), tube angulation (+/- 135°), andtrunnion rotation (+45°/-20°), assure completeradiographic coverage. Even the mostchallenging views, such as weight-bearing,cross-table and off-table studies aresimplified through the system’s generousrange of motion and flexibility. The table control handle has the abilityto drive the table up and down, as well asenabling the float-top feature."QUIET-LIFT" ELEVATING FLOAT-TOP TABLE(QT-750)Quantum’s revolutionary design of the “QUIET-LIFT”Elevating Float-Top Table, provides a number of innovativefeatures. With a patient weight capacity of 650 lb and anextra-wide design, the table is able to support the full rangeof patient types comfortably. Additionally, its FAIL-SAFEelectromagnetic breaking system and collision-avoidanceelectronics ensures patient and operator safety. The tablelowers easily to accommodate a variety of stretcher andwheelchair patients. Quantum’s QT-740 Series table has allthe same key features with the exception of table elevation.VERTI-Q VERTICAL WALL STAND (QW-420)Standing examinations are easily accomplished withQuantum’s VERTI-Q Vertical Wall Stand, due to theextensive range of vertical travel.MOTORIZED SERVO-DRIVE FLOOR MOUNT(QS-550-MAC), with “Q-TRACK” TechnologyQ-Rad Floor Systems are available with SERVO-DRIVEand “Q-TRACK” technology, which provides motorizedsynchronization between the central beam of the x-ray andthe center of the image receptor, keeping them in alignment. This feature allows the technologist to save time and effort, byeliminating the need to constantly align the tubestand to thewall bucky, while ensuring a greater precision. “Q-TRACK”also automatically maintains the proper SID with the elevatingtable during vertical adjustments.7
