SINN Hotels become the Precise Hotel Collection 

The SINN Hotels Group announces the rebranding of its hotels into The Precise 

Hotel Collection. The new name and image has been designed so as to support the 

group's growth plans and evolution of its strategic goals. Corporate and 

ownership structures remain unchanged. 

Berlin, 20 June 2008. The SINN Hotels Group will now be labeled in the German and 

international markets the Precise Hotel Collection. This move corresponds with the 

hotel group's strategic vision to consolidate its hotels by developing an upscale 

collection of singular hotels and to broaden it's presence into the international 

market. The rebranding however has not affected the corporate or the ownership 

structure. 

The Precise Hotel Collection, with its head office in Berlin’s Friedrichstrasse, is 

active in the area of both hotel management and property investment. At the 

company’s head office, a growing team of 20 members deals with management, 

sales and marketing, business development and all accountancy. All eight hotels are 

owned by the Group and are operated and managed by it. 

The company was founded in June 2005 by hotelier, Ron Ben‐Haim, and has grown 

rapidly since then ‐ the Precise Hotel Collection now comprises eight, exclusively in 

the four and five star categories. The Group’s first hotel, the Carlton

Donaueschingen, was launched in June 2006. The same year saw the opening of the 

Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof and the Bristol in Bad Kissingen. In 2007 the Group 

took over the Quedlinburger Stadtschloss Hotel, the Villa Mosler in Stadtoldendorf, 

Lower Saxony, and the Accento in Leipzig. February 2008 saw the addition of a 

property in “Holstein Switzerland” to the Precise Collection ‐ Hotel Dieksee in Bad 

Malente, followed by the Panorama in Rosenheim. Two further properties in Berlin 

and Hanover are planned for 2008. In parallel to further establishing and 

broadening its operation in Germany the group plans to penetrate to other 

European destinations in 2009

Overview of the Precise Hotel Collection: 

Precise Bristol Bad Kissingen 

This boutique hotel is directly opposite the famous rose garden of this spa resort in 

the Franconian Rhoen. The classical structure, built in the late 19th Century, has 

been cleverly combined with a new section and is a successful example of how 

Wilhelminian architecture and new design can harmonise. The four star hotel has 

83 rooms, a restaurant seating 60 guests, a lobby bar for 20 guests and a large 

garden terrace with room for 60 people. The hotel also has a spacious spa with 

pool, sauna and beauty treatment room. The five conference rooms, some of which 

have access to a roof terrace, all enjoy natural light and offer space for up to 150 

people. 

Precise Dieksee Bad Malente 

This four star hotel stands out due to its unique location directly overlooking 

Dieksee Lake. The maritime style hotel has 70 rooms, some with balcony, and a 

separated villa. The water front restaurant for 100 guests serves Franco‐German 

cuisine which is famous far beyond the regional borders. The lobby lounge has 25 

seats, while the large garden terrace seats 80 people. The hotel also has a spacious 

wellness area with pool, whirlpool, sauna and sunbathing lawn. Events for up to 

150 people can be held in the four conference rooms with lake view. Parking is 

available in the underground car park and directly at the hotel. Bad Malente is 

located close to Lübeck and Kiel, while from Hamburg the resort is a one hour drive 

away. 

Precise Carlton Donaueschingen 

The original building, erected in 1925 as a silk spinning factory, has been converted 

in loving detail into a four star hotel with 82 rooms. A special feature of the hotel is 

its generous lobby with light‐flooded atrium, exotic furniture, waterfall and coi carp 

pond. It holds space for 250 guests in the two restaurants which serve the finest



international gourmet cuisine and traditional dishes from the southern Black 

Forest/Alsace region. A bar, a music night club and a bowling alley complete the 

hotel’s range of entertainment amenities. The large wellness area contains sauna 

and whirlpool, as well as a comprehensive range of fitness activities, massages and 

beauty treatments. With its eleven conference rooms, serving up to 500 people, 

this first class hotel is also the region’s biggest conference centre. All event rooms 

enjoy natural light, with some also accessible by car. A large woodland area, owned 

by the hotel, is the ideal setting for a wide variety of outdoor activities. The hotel 

also provides ample free parking. 

Precise Accento Leipzig 

This four star hotel has been completely designed in the Pop Art style and is located 

close to the Leipzig Trade Fair Centre and the airport. The hotel has 115 rooms 

including four suites. The restaurant which seats 90, serves international cuisine. 

The 40‐seat bar and the 30‐seat terrace complete the hotel’s gastronomic options. 

This first class hotel also provides a fitness room with sauna. Its conference facilities 

include five conference rooms for up to 100 people. These rooms are fully air‐ 

conditioned and all enjoy natural light. There is ample parking space in the hotel's 

underground car park as well as three bus parking spaces. 

Steigenberger Mannheimer Hof 

Located in the centre of Mannheim, this landmark 1920's Bauhaus style hotel, has 

been completely refurbished in 2007, respectively to its legendary heritage. The 

four star superior hotel offers 165 rooms and ten suites. There is space for 120 

guests in the restaurant with Euro‐Asian cuisine while the serene inner courtyard 

terrace and the bar can accommodate 100 and 30 guests respectively. The musical 

cabaret “Schatzkistel” is also located directly at the hotel. Events for up to 310



people can be held in the seven conference rooms, all of which have natural light. 

There is a public multi‐storey car park directly at the hotel. 

Precise Panorama City Rosenheim 

This four star Tuscan style hotel located in Rosenheim’s pedestrian zone and has 89 

rooms and two apartments. The breakfast restaurant with adjacent conservatory 

can seat 68 people and can also be booked for the exclusive use of conference 

guests and tour groups. All three of this first class hotel’s conference rooms enjoy 

natural light and offer space for up to 150 people. Group and meeting rooms for up 

to 40 people are also available. Ample room for parking is provided in the 

underground car park directly at the hotel as well as space for up to three tour 

buses. 

Precise Villa Mosler Stadtoldendorf 

This first class hotel, located south of Hanover in the small town of Stadtoldendorf 

is an example of how 19th Century architecture can be successfully combined with 

a modern style of architecture. . In this case, a new section was cleverly integrated 

into the magnificent Rothschild villa. The hotel has 54 rooms and six suites. The 

gourmet restaurant which is known far beyond the local region, seats 65 guests. 

This four star hotel also has a bar with 25 seats and a large summer terrace which 

seats 65 people. The hotel’s amenities are rounded out with a sauna, a fitness 

room, a relaxation area on the roof terrace and a landscaped garden. There are four 

conference and two group rooms available for up to 100 people, as well as a large 

foyer for conference breaks and presentations. 

Precise Quedlinburger Stadtschloss 

This boutique hotel in the heart of the UNESCO world heritage site, Quedlinburg, is 

an example of how the architecture of a 16th Century palace can be successfully 

combined with a modern style of architecture. This first class hotel has 44 rooms,



16 of which are barrier‐free. The gourmet restaurant, Hagensches Freihaus, which 

seats 60, is known far beyond the region’s borders for its outstanding cuisine and 

superb service. The Schlosskueche and Bar and the Wine Cellar, each with 20 seats, 

and a summer terrace for up to 25 guests round out the gastronomic amenities. In 

the four star superior hotel’s wellness area guests can avail the whirlpool and 

saunas as well as a comprehensive range of massage and beauty treatments. Four 

historic event rooms, each 4 metres high and with natural light, offer conference 

and seminar space for up to 200 people. A banqueting hall, into which the original 

doors from the Dresden “Zwinger” have been lovingly integrated, is also available 

for events for up to 120 people.
