to the <strong>Foundation</strong><br />
A total of $1,352,705 and $1,603,974 in cash, pledges and gifts-in-kind was received in the 12<br />
months ending June 30, <strong>2009</strong> and <strong>2010</strong> respectfully. Donors and fundraising events contributed<br />
cash to the foundation totaling $825,157 in <strong>2009</strong> and $759,829 in <strong>2010</strong>. Gifts-in-kind, such as<br />
equipment and office furniture, were donated and valued at $472,813 in <strong>2009</strong> and $752,858<br />
in <strong>2010</strong>. Of the cash contributions, $747,534 (91%) in <strong>2009</strong> and $708,339 (93%) in <strong>2010</strong> was<br />
restricted by the donors for scholarships, endowments, specific departments, or other purposes.<br />
The remaining $77,623 (9%) in <strong>2009</strong> and $56,004 (7%) in <strong>2010</strong> was unrestricted.<br />
As of June 30, <strong>2009</strong>, the total net assets of the foundation, the GTF McAlister, LLC, the GTF<br />
Student Housing, LLC, and Brashier, LLC were $8,621,693 and the total endowment was<br />
$4,401,677. As of June 30, <strong>2010</strong>, the total net assets were $7,501,631 and the total<br />
endowment was $4,498,596.<br />
