The Entrepreneurs Forum recognizes individuals who have contributed to the prosperity<br />
of upstate South Carolina through their entrepreneurial activities, business leadership, and<br />
involvement in the community.<br />
In September <strong>2008</strong>, four Upstate entrepreneurs were inducted during the Entrepreneurs<br />
Forum Gala at the Carolina First Center. J. Earle Furman, Jr. of NAI Earle Furman, LLC;<br />
G. Jackson Hughes, Jr. of Hughes Commercial Properties, Inc.; Sandra S. Linning, a partner<br />
in LinningSmoakCrawford Public Relations; and llyn strong, owner of llyn strong Fine Jewelry.<br />
In September <strong>2009</strong>, seven Upstate entrepreneurs were inducted at the Gala. Craig Brown<br />
of the <strong>Greenville</strong> Drive; Timothy J. Reed of Upstate Carolina Angel Network; Ali Saifi of<br />
Subway Development Corp. of SC, Inc.; R. Arthur Seaver, Jr. of <strong>Greenville</strong> First Bank; and<br />
Homer L. Deakins, Jr., Lewis T. Smoak and J. Hamilton Stewart, III, founders of Ogletree,<br />
Deakins, Nash, Smoak and Stewart, PC.<br />
