Web Server Deployment Task AThis exercise covers some preliminary work that you should attempt before you startTask B.1. Create a web site that consists of 4 web pages. One home page calledindex.html and 3 child pages called products, contacts us and about us.2. Each page must contain a container div with header, nav section, contentsection, and footer. Use css div’s to create each section.3. Use a fixed width container to make development easier.4. Create a nice looking header in a drawing program to fit into the header div.The header should include at least two items from texture, shadows, 3deffects.5. Use a company name that you invented for a hypothetical business. Thename/business can be humorous but should not involve anything illegal, dangerous, violent or in bad taste.6. The product page must promote at least one product or service.7. Include a table for product specifications in your site.8. List the features of a product in an html list.9. Use xhtml 1 or 1.1 as the markup language.10. Use a list for the navigation bar and use some styles to create a nav bar insteadof a plain list of links.11. Use an external css file to describe all layout, formatting and styles for thepages. Do not include any centre, font or other deprecated tags or attirubutesin the html file.12. Use an image to illustrate your products.13. Ensure the page includes a doctype.14. Add meta tags for search engines to use. Use keywords and Dublin coredescriptors.15. Validate all the pages in your site against the Dreamweaver validator. Youcan also validate against the W3C validator however the w3c upload functionis unstable.16. Package the site into a ZIP file before submitting. Do not use “submit aswebsite” on bhive. It only works with certain types of sites.17. Add your name and group and ID and date to the html in the title and as acomment in the css files.18. Upload them to BHIVE after getting the teacher to check your work.UEENEED010B Set up and createcontent for a web serverTask A Page 2 of 2
