It isfree of aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, phenol, and chromates.TURCO <strong>1270</strong>-6 was developed as a paint softener to be used in combinationwith blast media and high pressure water. However, with sufficient timeand/or elevated temperatures TURCO <strong>1270</strong>-6 can remove selected paint systemswithout the necessity for blasting or high pressure rinsing. It isparticularly effective in selective removal of topcoats from paintedcomposites which employ a "nylon type" intermediate barrier coat. For othersystems, both the topcoat and the intermediate primer may be removedleaving the chromated primer intact.FEATURES:TURCO <strong>1270</strong>-6 offers these features:NESHAP compliant - no HAPsAllows stripping of topcoat and intermediate coat without strippingprimerMinimizes hazards in work areaSafe on aircraft metals, including magnesium and high strength steelUSE INSTRUCTIONS:Apply TURCO <strong>1270</strong>-6 to the paint surface with a Graco (or equivalent) 10:1barrel pump equipped with a Teflon lined, stainless steel braided solventresistant hose fitted with a stainless steel spray wand and a 6520 to 9520non-atomizing spray tip. The first application should be a very light lightfilm (only heavier thana mist coat).The following order of application is preferred, 1) the belly of theaircraft,at the lowest of the keel line in both directions towards the nose and tailrespectively; 2) the bottom surface of the wings; 3) the crown and andsides
