THE HUMAN SOULThis soul of life is manifested by its ownintimate movements, which pass beyondthe cutaneous limit of our tangible body,record themselves or graph their luminousvibrations, in such a way that it is nolonger possible to confound it with the differentmodes of energy, from which itisdistinguished by the polarisation of itsmovement, by the very signature of itsgraphy.After having explored the domain ofmatter in its scope, that of mechanics inthe laws of the transformation of energy,the hour has come for the human mind, toconsider spontaneous movement, that is tosay of intelligence in movement and luminousvibration : it is the second plane of theinvisible now reached ; it is the beginning ofthe experimental stage of the Spirit, of thethird plane. The invisible intelligence,intermediary of the forces,of COHESIONand of SUBTILISATION, semi-consciousand instinctive forces, weighs and balancesthem in a learned and wise antagonism,which produces harmony in the Universe.— i68 —
GENERAL CONCLUSIONSPhysiology has studied the organic functions,the visible result of life in the organ,psychology has to study the soul of theorgan, of Tvhich we know the functions andthe structure, that is to say, the lifein us.This study applied to the human soul,show^s us it as form, the last covering, thesheath ofour soul, which knows and knowsitself.The soul acts by its own conscious psychicmovement. This movement, we can record,as well as receive the graphic signature,the glimmering of the soul.For those who do not believe in its existence,we have built between tangible matterand the spirit,inaccessible in itself, butaccessible by its manifestation, by the luminousform, which it assumes, we havebuilt, we say, a bridge of experimentsacrossthe abyss of the mystery, a bridgejoining the firm ground of the material tothe invisible, the finite to the infinite.
