We don’t havemuch time left before the big event, so as long as you arein good basic health and capable of brisk walking for 20 to30 minutes without breathlessness, this program will beappropriate for you. This program should be done at least3-5 times per week. All running should be done at a conversationalpace, meaning that you can easily talk whilerunning. During your cardiovascular workout, your heartrate should be within 60% and 85% of your maximum heartrate. You can check your heart rate on your neck or wrist,taking a 10 second count and multiplying by 6. If it ishigher than this range you need to work at a reduced intensity.If your heart rate is lower than 60% you will needto increase intensity.
