National Maize Research NetworkMaize Research Program is a joint venture of NMRP as a lead centre and disciplinary divisionsworking in collaboration in a multidisciplinary team to achieve above-stated national goals andobjectives. Currently, three major environments and six production domains have been preciselydefined and work plans developed and focused accordingly. In-country networks with main hillstations (ARS DaiJekh, ARS Surkhet, ARS Lumle, HCRP Kabre, ARS Pakhribas) and terai stations(RARS Nepalgunj, RARS Parwanipur, RARS Tarahara, ORP Sarlahi, NRRP Hardinath) areestablished and coordinated by NMRP for technology generation, source, seed production and onfarmtesting.Research Highlights1.
