PAUL MADAULE is an author, Listening Therapist,<br />
lecturer, workshop leader, and Director of The<br />
Listening Centre in Toronto, Ontario. His book<br />
“When Listening Comes Alive: A Guide To Effective<br />
Learning And Communication” (1994) is available<br />
from The Listening Centre. He worked with<br />
internationally-known otolaryngologist Dr. Alfred Tomatis for ten<br />
years before developing a dozen Tomatis Method Centres throughout<br />
Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Paul Madaule has also written<br />
many articles on the educational and therapeutic value of music,<br />
voice, and listening training. More recently, he originated “Listening<br />
Fitness With The LiFT®”, an educational-oriented and user-friendly<br />
Listening Training technique. Paul is presently working with Eve<br />
Kodiak, a movement therapist, on Listenin’ Live. This is a book and<br />
CD of original songs and word games to playfully and spontaneously<br />
engage children to explore their listening and to enrich their voice<br />
and speech.<br />
