Thank You.Soledad Shereck writes:I thank God that St. Anthony has a perpetual AdorationChapel. When times get tough, I go to adoration. Jesus ismy strength, confidante, and best friend. He listens to myproblems and helps me find solutions. Many times in thelast three years, when problems and suffering haveentered my life, I have chosen to go to Adoration. I arriveworried, upset, or with many questions on what I shoulddo or why something was happening in my life. When Ileave the chapel I have been calm, usually with ideas onhow to handle the situation, or what I needed to change toimprove the situation.Sometimes I have been inspired to open a book in thechapel, other times to write in a journal of what is goingon in my life. It helped me calm down. God made merealize what I must change or accept as God’s will. Ineither case, He gives me the strength I need to go on. Onsome occasions, it took more than one hour to geteverything that was bothering me off my chest and out ofmy mind before I was able to accept God’s Love and Peace. He is better than any counselor, advisor, or pill. He willlisten to you with LOVE and UNDERSTANDING. Hechanged my life. He doesn’t have time restrictions, you canstay and talk to Him for as long as you want and don’thave to worry about how to pay for it.If you are not sure that Jesus is really and substantiallypresent — Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity — in theEucharist, you should spend time with Him and ask Him tocome into your heart. He will let you know how real He isand how much He loves you.Saint Anthony Catholic ChurchMarian Catholic High School Open HouseMarian Catholic High School, 700 Ashland Ave., ChicagoHeights, has been teaching Scholars with a Soul formore than 50 years and invites all to their Open Houseon Sunday, Dec. 4th from 11 am to 2 pm.
