Clave 1 ° 2 ® ®Needlefree Fluid Delivery Connector SystemThe 1 ° 2 valve is the first technology to provide automatic checkvalve security that allows the intravenousadministration and aspiration of fluid with the simple push of a button. The revolutionary buttoneliminates turn handles and provides a low profile streamlined design.Provides the highest flow rate availablethrough the main line, equal to nine Frenchor more than 600 mL/min at gravity. Thissame valve has the smallest availabledeadspace; less than 0.025 mL of residualfluid which, allows for very precise drugdelivery.The valve sideport port allows forintermittent drug delivery with the securityof a one-way check valve. This pressureactivated one-way valve protects thesystem from accidental infusion, or themixing of incompatible drugs and fluids ona manifold. Propofol, Lipids and Bloodproducts can safely be administeredthrough the 1 ₀ 2 valve.By simply pushing the button of the 1 ₀ 2, itconverts to a two-way valve that permitsaspiration. When the button is released, the1 ₀ 2 valve automatically returns to theclosed one-way position.
