The transportation, loading & unloading ofsuch materials from central stores to the work spot is the responsibility of thecontractors.5.0 The quantities given in the schedule of items are approximate and may vary or someof the items may not be executed. No additional claim is permitted on the unit ratequoted by the contractor on account of variations, omissions and modifications.Payment will be made on the actual quantity of work done based on the certificationby the engineer in charge.6.0 The period of contract will be four (04) months from the date of issue of LOI/workorder, excluding the rainy period (June to September) as per the recommendation ofKIOCL Engineer-in-charge.7.0 Maintenance period will be one year from the date of completion of work.8.0 The contractor/agency shall co-ordinate with CISF personnel at PPU & NMPT forobtaining entry passes on daily basis.9.0 The contractor/agency shall make arrangement for setting out the layout ofcompound wall at his cost.10.0 The construction work needs to be carried out only during day hours i.e from 8.00AM to 5.00 PM.
