documents in support of pre-qualification with official seal & signature on allpages but without any mention of rates & prices.First envelope shall also contain “EARNEST MONEY” (EMD) in the form ofDemand Draft as detailed at para (5) below & the “TENDER DOCUMENTFEES” (TDF) if the tender documents is downloaded from the website.b) Second sealed cover superscribed as “Priced – Construction ofcompound wall (at Triangular Area), Pellet Plant Unit, KIOCL Limited,Panambur, Mangalore.”, shall contain One Set of prices filled in strictly asper format 3.0 (d) above i.e. Schedule of Items and Prices at Annexure –III. Prices should be quoted and written in words at Annexure-III and noother additional papers are to be enclosed there in.c) Both the above covers should be kept in 3 rd cover and sealed andsuperscribed as “Bid – Construction of compound wall (at TriangularArea), Pellet Plant Unit, KIOCL Limited, Panambur, Mangalore.”, andaddressed toThe General Manager (CP&TS),KIOCL Limited,(A Govt. of India Enterprise)II Block, Koramangala,BANGALORE – 560 034and shall be reached to his office till 03.00 PM, on or before 15.02.2012.5.0 The Bid shall be accompanied by an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) ofRs 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) to be deposited in the form of aDemand Draft from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of KIOCL Limited.,Bangalore. No interest will be paid on Earnest Money Deposit. No other form ofEarnest Money Deposit will be accepted. Bids not accompanied by EMD & TDFshall be liable to be rejected at the sole discretion of KIOCL without any furtherconsideration.EMD shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders without any interest afterissue of Letter of Intent / work order to the successful Bidder and in case ofthe successful bidder, the same shall be returned after submission andacceptance of the Security Deposit for this work as referred to in Article No.37 of “General Conditions of Contract” (TS/B/KIOCL/QF-31/REV-1).6.0 Further to the submission of the offer, un-priced offers will be opened on15.02.2012 at 4.00 PM for scrutiny.
