Celebration<br />

On February 11, 2008, HARC’s Bulova<br />

Center presented <strong>it</strong>s Black History Month<br />

Celebration. Several guests, including<br />

Reverend Muriel Paschall from Greater<br />

St. Paul Baptist Church of Deliverance,<br />

Hartford Council Woman,Veronica Airey<br />

Wilson and Beresford Wilson of AFCAMP,<br />

spoke at the event. A terrific luncheon,<br />

provided by the Bulova Center staff,<br />

followed the program.<br />

HARC Staffer, Robin Alvarez was honored<br />

at the Special Olympics CT Hall of Fame<br />

Dinner in March, 2008. Alvarez received the<br />

Unsung Hero Award for her activ<strong>it</strong>es w<strong>it</strong>h<br />

HARC’s Special Olympics Unified Athletic<br />
