With the summer arriving and with it the potential for localised floods and other disasters, this conferencewill assist and make the residents of the province aware of the need to reduce their disaster risk.It is only through consistent evaluation of disaster risks that one can plan for mitigation and preparedness in orderto reduce disaster risk and increase resilience to disasters.
