We will workclosely with your guests on an individualbasis to ensure their bookings arecustomized.♥ Does <strong>Atlantica</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> & <strong>Marina</strong> <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Island</strong> require a deposit?Along with your signed contract, a non-refundable deposit of $750.00 is required to confirm yourpreferred date. This amount would be credited to your final bill. A second non-refundabledeposit of $750.00 is required 6 months prior to your wedding. A final deposit of 50% of expectedfood and beverage costs (that will be billed to your master account) is required 2 months prior


the wedding date. Payment in full is due the day prior to the wedding reception.♥ Are we required to rent guestrooms to have our wedding reception in your banquet rooms?As the table below depicts, there is a minimum guestroom requirement and it varies depending onwhich banquet room you use. These minimums are flexible depending on the day of the week andtime of the year. For example, if you would like to have either Bluenose rooms (A or B), yourguestroom block must actualize 40 guestroom nights in total. If you have 10 on one night, and 30on another night, this will count as 40 guestroom nights. You must guarantee the minimumguestroom block and if the minimum is not actualized, the wedding client will be held responsiblefor any remaining rooms.♥ What is your cancellation policy?If cancellation occurs your deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs less than 60 days priorto the date of your arrival as outlined, 50% of the estimated food and beverage will apply. Ifcancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the date of your arrival as outlined, 100% of theestimated food and beverage will apply.♥ Is there a minimum food and beverage purchase requirement?<strong>Atlantica</strong> <strong>Hotel</strong> & <strong>Marina</strong> <strong>Oak</strong> <strong>Island</strong> requires a minimum food purchase of $35.95 per person, priorto taxes and gratuities. This minimum can be achieved through a reception or dinner. Shouldyou wish to have a bar, there is a minimum revenue requirement of $350.00 prior to taxes andgratuities. If you are unable to meet this minimum a bartender fee of $60.00 plus taxes will apply.*The rates shown above are based on 2012 rates.♥ Do you charge a service gratuity?A gratuity of 15% is added to all food and beverage items that are to be billed to the masteraccount.♥How much is the reception room rental?As not all weddings are the same, we have several different reception spaces available.
