Media ReleaseLeighton awarded contract for Tin Shui Wai Hospitalin Hong Kong28 February 2013Leighton Contractors (Asia) Limited, a part of the Leighton Asia, India andOffshore Group, has secured a design and build contract for a new hospitalin Tin Shui Wai, Hong Kong. The contract is valued at approximately A$370million and will be delivered as a joint venture between Leighton Contractors(Asia) Limited and Able Engineering Company Limited.“We have successfully proven our ability to develop quality healthcare and medicalfacilities in Hong Kong over many years. The award of this contract positions theLeighton Asia, India and Offshore Group well to utilise this core competence tocapture the opportunities arising in the health sector market as investment in socialinfrastructure continues to expand.
