Whenever theMuslims would experience a difficulty on the battlefield, they would askBaraa to entreat Allaah Ta t ala to aid them. They would then defeat theenemy. During the incident of Qaadisiyáh; he entreated Allaah Ta’ala to besufficient for them; and that he be granted Shahaadat. He became aShaheed on that occasion.16
